Lyricist Kausar Ahmed Chaudhury dies

Noted astrologer and lyricist Kausar Ahmed Chaudhury has passed away. He breathed his last at 9:40pm on Tuesday (February 22).

Ahmed Shafi Chowdhury, son of the lyricist confirmed the matter.

Kausar Ahmed Chaudhury was undergoing treatment in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of a private hospital in Dhaka. He was suffering from kidney disease and blood infection.

He wrote many famous songs for some of Bangladesh's most iconic musicians, including LRB, Miles, Samina Chowdhury, Lucky Akhand, Shakila Smriti, Niaz Mohammad Chowdhury.
