Mrittunjoy in Bangladesh squad for Ireland ODIs

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) on Sunday (April 9) announced a 15-member squad for the One-Day International series against Ireland away to England with uncapped pacer Mrittunjoy Chowdhury in the squad.
Spinner Taijul Islam has also been named in the squad after sitting out the Ireland ODI series at home.
Afif Hossain had been excluded from the squad after the first two ODIs against Ireland at home recently and the left-handed batter did not make it into the squad for the series which is part of the ICC ODI Super League.
Bangladesh have also named Shakib Al Hasan and Litton Kumer Das in the squad, with the latter slated to play the upcoming series after returning from the Indian Premier League (IPL).
The three-match ODI series will be played at Chelmsford’s Cloud County Ground on May 9, 12 and 14th respectively.
