Mustafizur new Brand Ambassador of Coca-Cola

Sport Desk: Bangladesh’s fast bowling sensation Mustafizur Rahman has become the new brand ambassador and youth icon of Coca-Cola Bangladesh.

In a short duration of his international career, Mustafizur has taken giant leaps. He became the first ever Bangladeshi cricketer to earn a spot in the ICC ODI Team of the Year and also topped the lists of persons searched on Google from Bangladesh in 2015.

With this association, Mustafizur Rahman becomes the first sports celebrity to join Coca-Cola family in Bangladesh in last few years. As an ambassador, Mustafizur will actively take part in Coca-Cola’s promotional activities and as a youth icon, help promote active and healthy lifestyle.  Depending on his schedule, he will also participate in various community engagements that Coca-Cola engages in throughout the year in Bangladesh.

Making the announcement on Wednesday, Shadab Khan, Managing Director of Coca-Cola Bangladesh said, “We are proud to welcome Mustafizur Rahman to the Coca-Cola family. Cricket is undoubtedly the most popular sport in Bangladesh and in a short time Mustafizur has become one of Bangladesh youth’s favourite cricketer. We are proud that he will be representing Coca-Cola as its brand ambassador; reinforcing that Coca-Cola is for everybody.”

Coca-Cola recently unveiled its global campaign ‘Taste The Feeling’, which will be launched in Bangladesh soon.
