BNP calls fresh blockade on Nov 26, 27

BNP has announced that it will observe another 48-hour countrywide blockade for the seventh time.

The blockade programme will be observed on Sunday (November 26) and Monday (November 27).

BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi made the announcement in a virtual press conference on Thursday (November 23) afternoon.

Rizvi said they called the programme to press home the party's one-point demand – resignation of the government and elections under a non-partisan neutral administration.
