‘Legal actions against them who will threaten voters’

Election Commissioner Rasheda Sultana has said that the Election Commission will take legal actions against them who will threaten voters in the upcoming 12th national parliamentary election.

She came up with the warning after a meeting on the occasion of the national parliament election at Rangpur Divisional Commissioner's office on Friday (November 24) at noon.

She also urged the voters to inform near a law enforcement agency if any one threatens them.

Rasheda Sultana said the Election Commission has completed all preparations so that the voters can go to the polling stations and exercise their voting rights without any fear. Apart from this, the law enforcing agencies and the field level administrations are also very sincere about this matters.

The Election Commissioner also said that the election will be held on time and there is no possibility of postponing the date.
