No scope to reschedule election: EC Secy

Election Commission Secretary and spokesperson Md Jahangir Alam has said the deadline for submission of nomination papers for the upcoming 12th parliament election has ended at 4:00 pm on Thursday (November 30) and there is no scope to reschedule the election.

The EC secretary said this while briefing a press conference at the media center of the Nirbachan Bhaban on Thursday (November 30).

“As the deadline for submitting nomination papers ends today at 4:00 pm, there is no scope to reschedule the election for any party,” he said.
