Parliament polls: 2713 nomination papers submitted, 747 independents

On the occasion of the upcoming 12th parliament election, political parties and independent candidates have submitted a total of 2,713 nomination papers in 300 constituencies.

Among them, a total of 1,966 candidates from 32 political parties have submitted nomination papers. And there are 747 independent candidates who submitted their nomination papers.

Election Commission (EC) Additional Secretary Ashok Kumar Debnath disclosed the information on Friday (December 1).
