EC directive to transfer all OCs across country

The Election Commission (EC) has directed to transfer all officers-in-charge (OCs) of all police stations across the country ahead of 12th national election.

On Thursday (November 30), EC Deputy Secretary Md Mizanur Rahman wrote a letter to the secretary of the public security division of home ministry to transfer all OCs in phases.

He also sent copies of the letter to cabinet division secretary and inspector general of police.
