Restrictions should be imposed on BNP: Quader

Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader has said that restrictions should be imposed on BNP as they are obstructing election process in the country.

The general secretary came up with the remark while speaking at a press briefing at the party’s political office at Dhanmondi in the city on Friday noon.

Awami League is not worried about any restriction. Following the constitution, we are moving forward to hold a free, fair and peaceful election under the independent Election Commission. Why any restriction will come?

Quader, also the road transport and bridges minister, said if the United States (US) wants to impose sanctions, then it should be imposed on BNP and its allies as they have already been qualified to get sanctions.
