5 officials of Transcom Group arrested

The Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI) arrested five officials of the Transcom Group in connection with three cases linked to property disputes.

The arrestees include - Md Fakhruzzaman Bhuiyan, serving as the executive director for Corporate Affairs and Law at the Transcom Group; Kamrul Hasan and Abdullah Al Mamun, both directors in Corporate Finance; Mohammed Mossadeq, the assistant company secretary, and Abu Yusuf Md Siddik, a manager (company secretary).

PBI arrested them from Gulshan on Thursday (February 22).

PBI Dhaka North Special Superintendent of Police (SSP) Jahangir Alam confirmed the matter.

Earlier, Shahzreh Huq, daughter of the late chairman of Transcom Group, Latifur Rahman, filed the case with Gulshan police station.
