PM’s 15 directives including price control during Ramadan

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has given 15 instructions in the first cabinet meeting of the present government. 

The Ministry of Rural Development and Cooperatives has recently sent letters to the mayors and administrators of all municipalities in the country to implement these instructions. 

The meeting was held in the Cabinet Room of the Prime Minister's Office under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on January 15.

Some of the directives are effective measures should be taken to control inflation and commodity prices in coordination with relevant ministries/departments and stakeholders. 

Urgent measures should be taken to control commodity prices and maintain normal supply of essentials during the holy month of Ramadan.
