2 BUET students die in Bailey Road fire

Two students of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) died in the blaze at the Bailey Road in the capital on Thursday night.

The deceased BUET students were identified as Lamisha Islam and Nahian Amin. Lamisha was the student of Mechanical Engineering Department while Nahian was from the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE). They were the students of the 22nd batch.

Dhaka Medical College Hospital sources confirmed the matter on Friday (March 1).

At least 46 people died in the blaze that broke out at a seven-storey building in Dhaka’s Bailey Road on Thursday night.
