Case filed over Bailey Road fire

A case has been filed over the death of 46 people in a fire that broke out at Green Cozy Cottage Shopping Mall on Bailey Road in the capital.

Police lodged the case on Friday (March 1) night, bringing an allegation of negligence.

DMP Ramna Zone’s Assistant Commissioner Mohammad Salman Farsi confirmed the news today.

Several people have been detained in this connection.

Mentionable, a terrible fire erupted at Green Cozy Cottage Shopping Mall on Bailey Road in the capital on Thursday (February 29) night, killing 46 people so far. 75 people were rescued alive in this connection. 11 people are undergoing treatment at hospitals.
