Bangladesh logs one Covid-19 death, 31 new cases

Bangladesh reported one Coronavirus or Covid-19 death in the past 24 hours, taking the total fatalities in the country to 29,493.

Meanwhile, 31 new Covid-19 cases were reported across the country over the same period, taking the country’s total number of coronavirus cases to 20,49,219.

The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) issued a press release on Tuesday (March 19), confirming the information.

The total number of recoveries were 20,16,414 with 52 new recoveries, the release said.

Bangladesh reported its first Coronavirus case on March 8, 2020, while its first death was on March 18 that year.
