Corruption will not be accepted: Deen Mohammad 

Newly-appointed Vice-Chancellor of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) Prof. Deen Mohammad Nurul Haque has said that he will not commit and accept any corruption.

The renowned ophthalmologist expressed the vow at a press conference on Thursday (March 28) afternoon.

Earlier, he officially took office as the new vice-chancellor. 

Ministry of Health and Family Welfare issued a notification appointing professor Deen Md Nurul Haque as new VC of BSMMU on Monday (March 11). 

The circular said, with the approval of the president and chancellor and according to section 12 of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University Act, 1998, Prof Deen Md Nurul Haque has been appointed as the vice-chancellor of BSMMU. 
He will serve as the VC for the next four years.
