8 pairs of Eid special trains to be operated in eastern region

Bangladesh Railway will operate eight pairs of special trains on the eastern region’s routes in a bid to ensure hassle-free journey for holidaymakers on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.

Apart from this, a total of 95 additional engines will be added. 

Mohammad Saiful Islam, Chattogram divisional manager, said we will operate eight pairs of special trains on different routes in a bid to ensure hassle-free journey for Eid holidaymakers.

Among them, two pairs of special trains will run on the Chattogram-Chandpur route, one pair on the Chattogram-Mymensingh and one pair on Dewanganj-Dhaka routes from April 5. These trains will continue operating till the next five days of Eid.
