Iran-Israel war: PM’s directive to stay ready

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has directed to closely monitor the Iran-Israel war situation and prepare to tackle possible negative impacts.
The Prime Minister gave the directive during an unscheduled Cabinet meeting held at the Prime Minister’s Office on Wednesday (17 April).
Cabinet Secretary Md Mahbub Hossain told journalists in a briefing at the Secretariat.
She has ordered the Cabinet to keep a close watch on how the Iran-Israel war situation and to prepare for any possible impacts on Bangladesh if a war breaks out between the Middle Eastern countries.
She also instructed to prepare to deal with the fuel price increase or any other kind of problems, so that necessary initiatives can be taken on time.
