China opens visa centre in Dhaka

China has opened a visa centre in the capital’s Banani. To make the Chinese visa easier, the visa centre has been opened, said the concerned authority.

Chinese Ambassador to Dhaka Yao Wen inaugurated the visa centre at the Prasad Trade Centre in Banani on Thursday (April 18).

Ambassador Wen said that exchanges between Bangladesh and China are increasing, close, and frequent at all levels and in all sectors. That's why the Chinese visa has been made easier. As part of this, the visa center has been launched.

Toufique Hasan, Director General (EA&P) of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bangladesh said the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman visited China in 1952. He wrote his experience in the book 'Amar Dekha Naya China'. People of our country are also interested in China.

The details of the application can be found on the visa centre’s website visaforchina.cn.

The visa centre will be open Sunday to Thursday, aside from holidays. Application and fee submissions are open from 9am to 3pm.
