Renowned writer and artist Dhruba Esh has been taken to the ICU of a hospital in the city.

Artist Rajat confirmed this to risingbd on Thursday evening.

Earlier, he was admitted to Health and Hope Hospital in the capital Dhaka due to a lung infection.

Dhruba Esh's name is indelible in the world of book cover design, having crafted countless iconic covers that adorn bookshelves worldwide.
