SC gets 3 new judges, gazette notification issued

President Mohammed Shahabuddin has appointed three new judges of the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court.

A gazette notification was issued in this regard on Wednesday. 

The three judges are Justice Muhammad Abdul Hafiz, Justice Md Shahinur Islam and Justice Kashefa Hussain.

The appointment will come into effect from the date of their oath. They are scheduled to take oath on Thursday.

The number of apex court judges now stands at eight.
