MV Abdullah with 23 crew leaves UAE for home

All 23 Bangladeshi crew members of MV Abdullah left the port of UAE for Chattogram early Tuesday (April 30).

Earlier, 56,000 tonnes of limestone were loaded on the ship at that port. Later, the ship left the port of Mina Saqr around 2am (UAE time).

Confirming the matter, Mehrul Karim, the chief executive officer of KSRM Group, said after being freed from the pirates, MV Abdullah, along with 23 sailors, anchored at Al Hamriya Port in the United Arab Emirates on April 21.

The ship unloaded coal there and left for Mina Saqr port on April 27. Then, the ship left for the country after loading 56,000 tonnes of limestone from Mina Saqr. It may take two weeks for the ship to reach Chattogram.
