Fuel prices hiked 

The government has increased fuel oil prices to align with international market rates.

The Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources issued a gazette notification in this regard on Tuesday (April 30).

Under the new prices, diesel and kerosene prices have increased by one taka per litre, while octane and petrol have increased by Tk 2.50 per litre.

According to the notification, a litre of diesel will now cost Tk 107, petrol will be priced at Tk 124.50, and octane will be Tk 128.50. The new price will be effective from May 1.
