MP Anar abducted for killing: 3 put on 8-day remand

Jhenaidah-4 Constituency Member of Parliament (MP) Anwarul Azim Anar was abducted in a bid to kill him. Three accused has been put on an eight-day remand in the connection. 

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Dilruba Afroz Tithi granted the order on Friday (May 24). 

The accused are Amanullah alias Shimul Bhuiyan, Shilasti Rahman and Foisal Ali alias Saji.

Assistant Commissioner of DB police Mahfujur Rahman sought 10-day remand.
