Court orders confiscate Benazir’s more assets

A Dhaka court has ordered the seizure of 113 movable and immovable assets held by Benazir Ahmed, his wife Zeeshan Mirza, daughter Farhin Rista Binte Benazir, and Tahsin Raisa Binte Benazir.

Dhaka Metropolitan Sessions Judge Mohammad As-Shams Jaglul Hossain passed the order when ACC Deputy Director Hafizul Islam filed the petition on Sunday (May 26).

Earlier on May 23, a Dhaka court ordered the seizure of all bank accounts held by Benazir Ahmed, former inspector general of police (IGP), along with 83 purchase records.

Recently, a national daily published news about the huge amount of illegal assets of former Inspector General of Police (IGP) and former Director General of RAB Benazir Ahmed. From then, the former IGP came to light.
