PM set to visit Patuakhali Thursday

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is set to visit areas hit by cyclone Remal in Kalapara upazila of Patuakhali on Thursday (May 30).

PM’s Deputy Press Secretary MM Emrul Kayas confirmed the information on Wednesday (May 29).

“The prime minister will leave for Patuakhali by a helicopter at 11am tomorrow in order to visit cyclone Remal-hit areas and distribute relief among people damaged by the cyclone,” he said.

The district administration is taking all-out preparations over the premier’s visit to Patuakhali.
