Anar murder: Jhenidah AL general secretary detained

The Dhaka Metropolitan Detective Branch (DB) has detained Jhenidah district Awami League General Secretary Saidul Karim Mintu in connection with the Anwarul Azim Anar MP murder.

He was arrested from the house of an Awami League leader in the capital’s Dhanmondi area on Tuesday (June 11) afternoon.

According to sources, he has been taken to the DB office for questioning in Anwarul Azim Anar MP murder.

Many Jhenidah district Awami League leaders are on vigilance in connection with Anwarul Azim Anar murder.
