3,920 Hajj pilgrims return home, 35 Bangladeshis die

A total of 3,920 Bangladeshi pilgrims have returned home following the conclusion of the annual Hajj pilgrimage.

Meanwhile, 35 Bangladeshis died while performing Hajj. Among the deceased, 28 were men and seven were women.

As of Saturday (June 22) morning, 10 flights have arrived from Saudi Arabia, bringing the pilgrims back. The first return flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines arrived on Thursday (June 20) with 417 Hajj pilgrims.
