Strict action if anyone tries to break law: DMP commissioner

Dhaka Metropolitan Commissioner Habibur Rahman said that there is a court directive on the issue of the ongoing quota movement. Defying the court order, if anyone tries to break law and order, we will take stern action.

The DMP commissioner said this while addressing reporters after visiting Hussaini Dalan Imambara in the capital on Monday (July 15).

He said the administration is ready to conduct all kinds of events, including the Tajia procession on July 17. All preparations have been taken in this regard.

Searching and cyber checking will be going on side-by-side CCTV monitoring, he added.

Meanwhile, the DMP commissioner urged all not to bring any kinds of knives, inflammable materials, high flags in the procession.
