PM orders to release detained general students

Prime Minister and Awami League President Sheikh Hasina has directed the authorities concerned to release the general students who were detained during the quota reform movement.

The prime minister made the directive in a meeting with the central leaders of the Peshajibi Somonnoy Parishad (Professionals Coordination Council) at Ganabhaban on Saturday (August 3).

The head of the government also assured the agitating students of ensuring trial for each killing.
