Students announce single-point demand

Anti-Discrimination Student Movement has announced a single-point demand for the resignation of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and her cabinet members.

On behalf of the platform, Nahid Islam, one of the key organisers, announced it at a mammoth rally at the Central Shaheed Minar on Saturday afternoon.

“We don’t want this government for one minute. Our single-point demand is the resignation of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina”, he said.
He also said they will enforce the non-cooperation movement starting from Sunday.

Earlier, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina called upon the agitating students to sit with her at Ganabhaban to end the violence centring the quota reform protests.
