Those causing sabotage are not students, have to suppress with firm hand: PM

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said that those who are now carrying out sabotage in the name of protest across the country are not students but terrorists.

“I appeal to the countrymen to suppress these terrorists with a firm hand,” she said.

The premier made the call in a meeting of the National Committee on Security Affairs at Ganabhaban on Sunday (August 4).

The chiefs of the Army, Navy, Air Force, police, RAB, BGB, and other top security officers attended the meeting.
