Palak, Tuku, Saikat put on 10-day remand

10-day remand has been granted for former Deputy Speaker Shamsul Haque Tuku, former State Minister for ICT Zunaid Ahmed Palak and Dhaka University Chhatra League General Secretary Tanvir Hasan Saikat each. 

The court of Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Rashidul Alam passed the order on Thursday (August 15). 

Earlier, police sought 10-day remand for Shamsul Haque Tuku, Zunaid Ahmed Palak and Tanvir Hasan Saikat. 

On August 14, police arrested them from the Nikunja residential area in the capital. 

These three individuals were detained in relation to a case filed at Paltan Police Station.
