Uprising Memorial Museum to exhibit torturing matters of 16 years: Nahid

The interim government has taken a decision to turn Ganabhaban into the ‘July Uprising Memorial Museum’. It will exhibit genocide, disappearance and torturing matters happened in 16 years of Awami League rule.
Nahid Islam, adviser to the Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology and the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, said this to newsmen on Saturday (September 7).
Youth and Sports adviser Asif Mahmud Sajeeb Bhuiyan and Industry Ministry adviser Adilur Rahman Khan were present at the moment.
A committee will be formed by Sunday with architects and museum experts to materialise the decision, he also said.
Earlier on Thursday, the interim government took the decision to turn Ganabhaban into the ‘July Uprising Memorial Museum’ to preserve the memories of genocide happened in the month of July this year.
