10-day remand plea for Tawfiq-e-Elahi

Police has sought a 10-day remand for former prime minister Sheikh Hasina's energy adviser Tawfiq-e-Elahi Chowdhury in a murder case filed with Badda police station.

Sub-Inspector and investigation officer Rezaul Alam sought the plea on Wednesday (September 11).

The hearing will be held at the court of Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Ali Hayder today.

Earlier, a DB team arrested him from Gulshan area in the capital.
