Memorial for martyrs will be held after final list 

Information and Broadcasting Adviser Md Nahid Islam has informed that the memorial meeting to honour the martyrs of the recent student-people mass upsurge, will not be held until a complete is prepared. 

The adviser said this at a press briefing on Thursday.

The memorial meeting scheduled for Saturday has been postponed and the new date will be announced later.

The health ministry has confirmed a list of 728 martyrs, with 20,263 injured people during the movement, he said.

Earlier on Tuesday, the government had set September 14 as the date for the memorial.
