Chandpur-Narayanganj launch service suspended

Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Authority (BIWTA) has suspended operations of launch service on Chandpur-Narayanganj route due to rough weather.

BIWTA Chandpur Traffic Inspector Md Bashir confirmed the news.

The authorities took the decision of suspension for the safety of the passengers.

Due to strong rolling in the river and cautionary signal No 3 has been advised for the maritime ports and cautionary signal No 2 for river ports.
