Rubel accused of opening fire on students, people arrested

Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) have arrested Delwar Hossain Rubel in a case filed for opening fire on the students and public at the capital’s Uttara during the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement.

He was arrested from Gazipur’s Tongi.

According to a press release issued from the elite force on Tuesday (September 17), Rubel opened fire with a pistol during the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement in Uttara Sector-11 in the capital on August 3.
