Dr Farid Hossain Made new director of DGHS

Dr Farid Hossain Miah has been appointed as the new director (hospitals and clinics) of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
A notification signed by Dur-Ray-Shahwaz, Deputy Secretary, Department of Health Education and Family Welfare (Par-1 Wing) confirmed the matter on Tuesday (September 17).
Prior to this, Dr Farid Hossain Miah worked as Pharmacology Department Chairman at Faridpur Medical College.
He completed MBBS from Rangpur Medical College. After that he joined BCS health cadre and completed higher course from Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU).
