Two garment workers shot during clash with law enforcers

Two garment workers were shot and several others injured during clashes with members of law enforcing agencies in the capital’s Mirpur-14 area on Thursday.
The injured are Al Amin, 18, and Jhuma Akter, 15.
They have been sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH).
Aggravated workers set fire to a vehicle of police and a vehicle of army.
In-Charge Inspector of DMCH Police Outpost Md Faruk said two have been admitted to the emergency unit.
The matter has been informed to Kafrul Thana police.
Jhuma, an employee of San Tex Fashion Garments, received a gunshot wound to her right leg, and Al Amin, hailing from Khulna, received a bullet wound to his back.
Being informed, fire servicemen rushed to the spot and doused the fire.
