Ethiopian Airlines launches Dhaka-Africa direct flight

The first flight of Ethiopian Airlines, top airline company in Africa and a Star Alliance member, arrived in Dhaka from Africa. Through the flight, the direct flights between Addis Ababa and Dhaka, has been started.

Following this, a window of new possibilities has been opened.

A Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, ET 678 touched down at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 8:48 am on Sunday (November 3).

The aircraft was welcomed in Dhaka with a traditional water cannon salute.

CAAB Chairman Air Vice Marshal Mohammad Monjur Kabir Bhuiyan said that Ethiopian Airlines is recognized as the leading carrier in Africa and a new beacon of hope for Bangladesh's aviation industry.
