Arms, bullets found in bazar bag before Mohammadpur Thana

Police recovered a revolver, a pistol with magazine and 37 rounds of bullets in a bazar bag, left abandoned, from the footpath in front of Mohammadpur police station in the capital.
The arms and bullets were recovered on Friday (November 8) evening.
Police, however, could not explain how these arms and bullets came here.
Dhaka Metropolitan Police deputy commissioner for media and public relations Muhammad Talebur Rahman said that a pedestrian found an abandoned bazar bag while passing by the footpath in front of Mohammadpur police station around 6 pm on Friday. He brought that bag to Mohammadpur police station. After bringing it to the police station, the police opened the bag and recovered a revolver, a pistol with magazine, 37 rounds of bullets, a hand mike and a small signal light.
