Press accreditation of 118 more journos scrapped

The Press Information Department (PID) has scrapped the permanent and temporary press accreditation cards of 118 more journalists.

A gazette notification, signed by Md Nizamul Kabir, chief information officer of  the PID under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, was issued in this regard on November 7.

The journalists whose press accreditation cards have been canceled include editors, deputy editors, and journalists working in various positions of televisions.

Earlier on October 29, the PIB cancelled press accreditation cards of 20 journalists.
