57pc want interim govt should stay in power for 2 yrs

About 57 per cent of respondents in a survey think that the current interim government led by Professor Dr Muhammad Yunus should stay in power two years or more time for the country’s economic and political reforms.
The results of the survey conducted by Asia University of Bangladesh (AUB) were released at a programme on its Ashulia campus of Savar on Monday.
About 24 per cent of respondents think that the interim government should remain in power for six months or less, while 10 per cent think the term should be one year.
Founder Vice Chancellor of the university Professor Abul Hasan Mohmmad Sadek, Treasurer Prof. Md Nurul Islam and Prof. Rabiul Karim Mridul spoke on the occasion.
The survey was conducted across the country involving 4,860 participants. Among the respondents, 60 per cent were male and 40 per cent were women.
