Dengue claims 6 more lives in a day

Six more deaths from dengue were reported in the 24 hours till Sunday morning, (December 1) raising the death toll from the mosquito-borne disease in Bangladesh to 494 this year.
During the period, 882 more patients were hospitalised with viral fever.
The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) confirmed the matter on Sunday (December 1).
Among the recent fatalities, two occurred in Chattogram division, and one each in Dhaka South City Corporation, Dhaka division, Barishal, and Rajshahi division.
