Four more die from dengue, 241 hospitalized

Four more people died from dengue in 24 hours till Friday morning.

During that time, a total of 241 more people with the disease were admitted to different hospitals across the country. 

A press release issued by the Directorate General Health Services (DGHS) said this on Friday afternoon.

Dhaka division recorded the most hospitalisations with 61 dengue patients, followed by Khulna with 44, Chattogram with 21, Barishal with 9, Mymensingh and Rajshahi with 8 each, Sylhet with 2 and Rangpur with one.

In the 24 hours till Friday morning, 295 patients were discharged from hospitals as they reached the state of recovery, bringing the year’s total discharges to 95,861.
