Students at Shaheed Minar call to cancel medical entry test

Students have been staging demonstration on the Central Shaheed Minar premises, demanding cancellation of quota in medical entry test.

Students of Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) and other institutions took position at around 10:30am on Monday.

They started the protest as the result of medical admission test was published on Sunday keeping the quota system. 

Some medical teachers and doctors expressed their solidarity with the protesters.

Many admission seekers qualified in the medical entry test securing only 41 to 46 marks out of 100 marks which was completely discrimination for the general students, alleged students.
