Mostofa Jalal Mohiuddin placed on 5-day remand

A Dhaka court has placed former Awami League lawmaker Dr Mostofa Jalal Mohiuddin on a five-day remand in a case filed over the death of trader Abdul Wadud in the capital's New Market area.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Joshita Islam passed the remand order on Monday (January 20).
Earlier, the Investigation Officer of the case produced him before the court seeking a 10-day remand prayer.
Dhaka Metropolitan Detective Police arrested former Dhaka-7 MP Mustafa Jalal Mohiuddin from the Mansurabadh housing area of Mohammadpur on Monday morning (January 20).
