“The demand to make it a university within a time limit is not logical”

Disclosing the position of the government regarding the Titumir College student’s demand, Education Adviser Wahiduddin Mahmud said the demand to make it a university within a time limit is not logical.

The adviser said this while addressing reporters after a meeting at NEC conference room in Sher-e-Bangla Nagar in the capital on Sunday (February 2).

He said the government will not establish any university following any demands.

We didn’t come to the power to meet demands. We are here for good governance and reformation, he added.

The adviser also said an expert committee has been formed to transform seven colleges into a university. They are working on this.
