Ex-State Minister Dipankar Talukder arrested

Former State Minister for the Chattogram Hill Tracts Affairs Dipankar Talukder has been arrested.

A team of the Detective Branch of police arrested him on Monday.

Additional Police Commissioner Rezaul Karim  Mollik said  “Dipankar Talukder was arrested from the capital’s Sobhanbagh area at around 7:30pm. There are several murder cases against him. He is being interrogated at DB office”.

The former state minister will be produced before the court on Tuesday, he added.
