Strict actions if anti-social elements threaten people

Recently, it has come to the attention of the police that anti-social elements have been giving various threats to people of different classes and professions in the country.

Giving any kind of threat to a person is a crime in the eyes of the law. If a person is a victim of such a threat, they have been requested to immediately inform the national emergency service 999 or the nearest police station. 

This information was given in a notification sent from the Police Headquarters on Monday (February 10). 

The notification said that Bangladesh Police is determined to ensuring the safety and security of every citizen of the country and to maintain law and order. If anti-social elements threaten any peace-loving citizen, strict legal actions will be taken against them.
